Escollera Dolphin Facility Xcaret

Our first dolphinarium. Built in 1990, consists of a natural breakwater which protects and delimits a space in the ocean of more than 2000 square meters that allows sheltering a group of dolphins in semi captivity conditions within their natural habitat. This is the place where in 1992 Xuna was born, the first dolphin calf in Mexico that could survive more than a year. Now, she is 13 years old and mother of the first calf of the second generation of dolphins born here.

This is an independent facility  in the Riviera Maya, a beautiful and impressive site divided in two huge spaces which together complete more than 4900 m2. An architectonic adventure that brought the sea into land, with areas for breeding, husbandry, adaptation areas for calves, maternity, and interaction.

Xel-Ha Dolphin Facility

The third dolphin facility of the company is located in Xel-Ha national park, remarkable place due to its inlets and lagoons of transparent water which invite people to admire the beauty of the marine fauna in the Mexican Caribbean and its exuberant vegetation. The programs are performed inside this natural aquarium on floating platforms.
